Hi, I’m Jen — founder of Playdwell and mum of three.

Playdwell started after years of navigating toys that didn’t last, didn’t hold attention, and didn’t belong in the homes we were creating.

They were loud, overstimulating, and quickly forgotten. And I kept thinking — there has to be toys that feel good to bring home. So I stopped looking for more. And started looking for better. Not just beautiful pieces. But ones with real play value, the kind children come back to, day after day.

Playdwell exists to bring together toys that are both design-led and deeply engaging. Pieces that feel calm in your space but rich in how they’re played with. Open-ended, thoughtfully made, and chosen for how children actually use them — not just how they look on a shelf.
